Intuition is said to be the sixth sense of all artists which helps them create more astounding intricate ideas and thoughts that are overly creative and put into their artwork. Intuition drives their work ethic and builds trust in the abilities and creative nature.
It propels the creativity of the artist by getting rid of the doubt and negative talk in their minds and relieves the stress to be more creative they put on their own selves. Picasso was a firm believer in intuition and thought of it as his way of bringing more ideas to life as you continued to work. He was once quoted as saying “What I capture in spite of myself interests me more than my own ideas.”
When artists continuously put pressure on themselves to be the most creative and when faced with a lack of ideas their intuition kicks in to keep them motivated. By the challenges they face without a constant flow of creativity to continue to work on paintings and the countless other life altering moments when they put their emotions and feelings out there for the world, intuition helps keep them centered and able to get through these challenges.
Answering a Question
Intuition of meditators and spiritual thinkers is much like that of an artist in terms of communication. An artist delivers creativity from total submersion into their work and gives the onlooker of their print an enhanced communication into their souls. The questions being asked in the minds of creativity seeking artists are similar to those of meditators seeking questions of the spiritual realm.
When an artist needs inspiration, they turn to their intuitive side to answer that question and when their mind is flooded with inspiration, the energy flows through their hands into their artwork. The creations that deliver messages to viewers are ones of emotion and soul reaching depths.
Cleaning up Your Thoughts
Intuition happens whenever your mind is clear of all the self-doubt, fear and anxiety like while out on a hike, cleaning the house or simply sitting there staring at the ocean. Your mind is not riddled with negativity but cleaned up to allow the creative thoughts and ideas flow into art.
In a sense, an artist needs to become in complete harmony with their intuition and will be in an almost meditative state of relaxation and cleared mind. They have the ability to become an enhanced creative thinker and will be able to trust in their own art that it will be truthful and natural in the message that is being delivered into the artwork.
Intuition of an artist is enhanced to be able to give the artist the ability to trust their own emotions and reach into their beings to be able to deliver to the viewers a view into their souls by means of a painting or other art forms. Artists have some of the most profound emotional states and when they are combined with the truthful, natural instinct derived through their intuition, gives the onlooker the ability to see the creativity of their emotions flow into their art.
